PURPOSE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STRUCTURE

Art. 1

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility is a facility specialized in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, aimed at providing, in a community context, accurate clinical assessments and treatments in a suitable environment. The facility has 14 accredited beds and 14 beds authorized with Acta Commissioner Decree NยฐU00037 of 02/26/2020 according to L.R. 4/03 and subsequent amendments. โ€“ R.R. 20/19

Art. 2

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility guarantees guests a high level of healthcare, psychiatric and social assistance, to keep the guests' physical, mental, emotional and relational abilities as active as possible, to limit further losses of autonomy and to attempt to reach the total reintegration into society.

Art. 3

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility undertakes to maintain active all existing relationships at the time of the guest's hospitalization, whether they refer to family members, relatives, friends, encouraging moments of meeting and relationship. The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility believes that the active contribution of relatives and friends is essential for the best integration of the guest.

Art. 4

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility will work constantly to achieve the objectives defined in the previous articles, organizing its interventions and services not on established performances, but on personalized objectives to try to satisfy the needs of the guest in the best possible way. This working method derives from the fact that we consider the guest not only as a bearer of needs but also as a bearer of resources and motivation to live.

SPECIAL RULES REGARDING COMMUNITY LIFE

Art. 5

Upon entry, the guest is assigned a room according to the proposal and choice among those available. If the needs of community life require it, the Management may order the transfer to another room, after informing the Contact person(s). Twin rooms will be allocated to a person of the same sex where possible.

Art. 6

The guest can, within the limits of the availability and needs of others:

โ€“ choose your roommate. A common room is normally reserved for spouses and siblings;
โ€“ personalize the room with personal objects (photos or other) with the consent of the Management and the roommate; โ€“ stay freely in the room;
โ€“ use all common spaces inside and outside the structure.

Art. 7

The guest, within the limits of personal possibilities, must undertake to observe the fundamental rules of personal and environmental hygiene, as well as to behave respectfully of the rules relating to correct coexistence.

Art. 8

The Director may remove the guest from the facility if he/she exhibits behavior and conduct incompatible with community life and commits serious infringements of the internal regulations of the facility. The relatives or the contact person are required to find suitable accommodation for the guest.

Art. 9

The guest must respect the obligation not to smoke in the rooms and in those environments within the structure where it is explicitly prohibited.

Art. 10

The guest is obliged not to wash objects of any kind, including underwear, in the bathroom sinks. Guests are not allowed to keep electric heaters, irons, gas or electric stoves in the rooms. Guests are also not allowed to keep animals with them.

Art. 11

The ways in which the guest's exit permits are managed are described in the Therapeutic Contract; normally, exits are not permitted for guests who have restrictive security measures, except with the operators.

For all guests it is necessary to agree with the Management the possibility of leaving the structure.

Art. 12

In the event of very serious health conditions that should occur, the guest must be transferred to hospital at the request of the attending doctor.

Art. 13

In the event of death, the staff takes care of sealing the wardrobes or the room where the deceased's possessions are kept. At the same time, communication must be given to the relatives or to the contact person.

ADMISSION AND DISCHARGE METHODS

Art. 14

Acceptance takes place every day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm.

At the time of admission it is necessary to submit the following documents:

โ€“ The request for hospitalization from the referring doctor (UVM).
โ€“ The health card.
โ€“ Your identity card or a valid identification document. โ€“ The tax code.
โ€“ Any previous clinical documentation.

Art. 15

To make the hospitalization permanent it is necessary to accept and sign the Therapeutic Contract which is delivered at the entrance.

Hospitalizations can take place voluntarily and each guest can decide at any time to interrupt their hospitalization, unless obviously there are no elements for a T.S.O. or that the guest is banned.
Hospitalizations are not permitted in the following situations:

  1. pregnant woman;
  2. infectious and/or parasitic diseases requiring medical isolation;
  3. non-psychiatric medical pathologies that require complex and/or continuous specialist interventions in the acute phase
  4. serious psychiatric pathologies requiring hospitalization in SPDC or SPOI;
  1. clinical inappropriateness of the hospitalization request;
  2. relational and/or behavioral incompatibility;
  3. non-acceptance of the โ€œInformed Consent to Processingโ€ MD93;
  4. legal provisions limiting personal freedom (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis).

Art. 16

At the time of admission, a copy of these regulations is signed by the guest or a designated family member, a copy of which will be delivered.

Art. 17

Resignations normally take place from Monday to Friday by 6.00 pm. There are no resignations on public holidays.

A guest can be dismissed immediately if:
โ€“ The clinical conditions have changed enough to prepare the transfer to another facility;
โ€“ Lโ€™ospite non rispetti quanto contenuto nel Contratto Terapeutico che viene fatto firmare al momento dellโ€™ingresso.

On the day of discharge, the relevant health documentation is delivered to the guest and also addressed to the patient's doctor and/or referring doctor for information.

SERVICES PROVIDED TO GUESTS

Art. 18

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility guarantees the following services:

โ€“ both double and single-bed rooms with bathrooms, - use of internal (television room, etc.) and external common areas,

โ€“ heating and use of hot and cold running water, - availability of communication systems that allow reception or calls to the outside,

โ€“ complete meals in compliance with the dietary table approved by the public hygiene service and the ASL territory, furthermore there is the possibility of special diets on medical prescription or according to cult,

โ€“ general and psychiatric healthcare. Furthermore, nursing care and the supply of medical supplies for personal hygiene are guaranteed,

โ€“ entertainment and socialization activities,
โ€“ maintenance and washing of household linen (sheets, towels, tablecloths), โ€“ religious assistance on request.

Art. 19

The food is adapted to the dietary needs of the guests according to the doctor's prescriptions or according to religion. The daily menu is prepared by the Management, trying to respect the needs of the guests as much as possible and served in the dining room or, with the prior authorization of the staff in the room.

Art. 20

Guests and/or their family members can submit a written complaint following a disservice, act or behavior that has denied or limited the usability of the services or report any suggestions, proposals and advice aimed at improving them.

Art. 21

In the event of short absences for family reasons and for hospital admissions not exceeding 30 days, the guest is guaranteed to keep their place. In these cases the healthcare fee will be suspended.

The times

Art. 22

The opening hours of the Administrative Office to the public are: Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 12.30. Visiting hours are: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in the morning from 10.00 to 11.30, in the evening from 5.00 to 6.30. Visits are permitted during the times listed above as long as they do not hinder therapeutic activities and do not disturb the rest of other guests. The specialist doctor can decide to limit or suspend visits if the psychological conditions of a guest make it necessary

Art. 23

Meals are normally served:
โ€“ breakfast from 08:00/08:30
โ€“ lunch from 12:00/12:30
โ€“ dinner from 6.30/7pm

RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND PARTICIPATION OF GUESTS IN THE LIFE OF THE STRUCTURE.

Art. 24

The Villa Belvedere Psychiatric Residential Facility implements all those initiatives aimed at activating and strengthening guests' relationships with the local community and local social and volunteer services, encouraging their participation in the life of the facility. The S.R.T.R.e. Community Villa Belvedere believes that the collaboration of family members and acquaintances is essential to achieve correct integration of the guest.

Guests are also guaranteed the opportunity to participate in the recreational, cultural and social initiatives organized by the facility.

Art. 25

The S.R.T.R.e. Community Villa Belvedere encourages, as far as possible, the participation of guests in the organization and good running of the structure. For this purpose, the guest and/or his family or the contact person are asked to contact the Management to report non-compliance or non-compliance with these Internal Regulations or in any case any time the inalienable rights of each person are not respected.

The Management will welcome with interest any suggestion, stimulus or proposal aimed at improving the quality of data services within the structure.

FINAL PROVISION

Art. 26

For everything not provided for in this Internal Regulation, please refer to the Service Charter, to the provisions established by the relevant National and Regional legislation, as well as to the specific provisions in the agreements that regulate the relations of the S.R.T.R.e. Community. Villa Belvedere with the various institutions.
